Meet Our Team » Zach Perkins
Zach Perkins was born and raised on a Nursery and Garden Center in northern Illinois. He was fully engulfed in the horticulture industry at a young age and fell in love with it. Zach attended Illinois State University in Bloomington, Illinois. The summer before he graduated he was an intern at Home Nursery. Throughout the summer he truly fell in love in the horticulture industry and the staff at Home Nursery. Once, he graduated in December of 2021, he took a job as the sales coordinator at Home Nursery. Throughout the spring and well into the fall Zach looks at all the plants on the farm to determine if they are up to the Home Nusery quality to send out to customers. He works closely with all the sales reps, is heavily involved in the website and social media. Zach hopes to bring what he learned on the retail side of the horticulture industry to the wholesale practices of Home Nursery. "I know what the reatail customers want to see and what catches their eyes on the table.... I look at the plants on the farm from retail customers eyes" We are very excited to have Zach Perkins at Home Nursery.
Joined the Home Nursery family in January of 2022.
