Mark Poleo began selling part time for his father at Poleo Associates in 1977 while also attending college. Mark graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 1980 with a Bachelor of General Studies Degree in the school of Business, Liberal Arts, and Natural Resources. Upon graduating, he began working full-time for Poleo Associates selling to retail garden centers, landscapers, wholesalers, and growers in the Great Lakes area. In 2005, he took over for his father as the owner of Poleo Associates.
